Took the dogs out for a while and they had a blast. Nice, well kept trails.
They also have cabins for rent (you supply linen)
This is a nice park with multiple trails. Fox Ridge Lake,in the park is fun. It is open in summer FREE.
Never very crowded. Well kept, lots of challenging trials up and down the ridges.
You just call and make a reservation. They supply row boats with wet wells for fish. It is a research lake , so staff will measure weigh, etc. You can have fish the correct size and keep for dinner. (Fishing has approx 25 steps down, not W/C accessible)
and camping spots. Baseball diamonds, pavilions and playgrounds.
I booked online. Pretty sure that little girl you see playing by the water on their website is not at Fox Ridge. I found water, but I wouldn't touch it. Fine campsite.
Some sites 30 amp only, some sites 50 amp. NO ONE in this entire camp, no one on duty, no one answering phones. Went to website recommended by phone, but not able to reserve any sites even though they said available to reserve. Thanks for the help, guys. NO WATER hookups. That's why no one is there to camp and lots are overgrown.
